What is Personal training?
I will work with you to help you achieve your health and fitness aims, these could be to: ‘Lose a bit of weight’, ‘Take that first major challenge’ or ‘Get fitter’. I will guide you through a program designed just for you, the activity sessions will change and adapt as you progress, and can be coupled with nutritional advice to ensure you are eating healthily.
After an initial consultation, I will be there to encourage, support and adapt the sessions to your training needs. I can provide training early mornings, day-time, evenings or weekends. This allows you to gain the greatest benefits possible from your time spent training, all at a time and location convenient to you.
I can help you to:- Improve your general health and fitness. This can help you live longer as well as making everyday life easier.
- Train you for marathon walking. For example the Thames Hospicecare Sunrise Walk, the London Moon Walk or help you improve your fitness for Trekking holidays.
- Lose weight and be comfortable in your body. For those special occasions, such as weddings and holidays.
- Improve your sporting performance. I have a personal background of running and mixed martial arts. I can help you improve in your sport (cycling, golf, football, rugby, rowing, running and more) by including specific aspects such as flexibility, strength or endurance.
- Increase your self-confidence. Just by knowing how to stand straight and smile can make a world of difference and by achieving your fitness aims you can start to believe in your own abilities to achieve what you want.
- Reduce your blood pressure. Regular exercise and healthy eating has many benefits; these can include reduced blood pressure and reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
